How can a crochet hook tell a love story? Or masking tape explain coming of age? In this workshop, each participant will reach into a paper bag and pull out the central image of their poem. Using surprising and silly found objects as our inspiration, we will challenge our creative abilities and tie down abstract poetic themes—love, hate, memory, growing up—to the page with new and refreshing imagery.
